About
Founded in 2013, the Tiffin Music and Art Festival operates as a non-profit event, with all staff members serving on a volunteer basis and proceeds from the event reinvested in the Tiffin community, including donations to the city Parks & Recreation Department and to the city for Fireworks. In 2015, the organization introduced the Tiffin Music and Art Festival Scholarship Program. This program benefits high school seniors from both Tiffin Columbian High School and Tiffin Calvert High School who are choosing to pursue a degree in performance or visual arts.
The Tiffin Music and Art Festival has been recently approved as a tax-exempt non-profit organization under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)3. Through this distinction the organization is eligible to receive tax deductible donations to help offset costs of the production of its events and contribute to the TMAF scholarship program.
